1. What is
VLINC?
VLINC
(Virtually
Linking
INstruction
and Curriculum)
is a cyber
services program provided through BLaST IU17 to assist school districts
in managing online courses for their enrolled students.
2. Why should my child enroll in
VLINC ?
There are many individual reasons
why families and students choose on-line learning.
These might include (but not be
limited to):
- Desire to be home-schooled
- Desire to learn at your own rate
- Alternative Education needs
- Special curriculum needs.
3. What are the
advantages of VLINC for the student?
- Graduation and diploma from the home school district .
- Ability to participate in student activities, clubs, athletics, etc. as a member of the home district
- Access to all student services of the home district (i.e. counseling, course advising, post-graduation planning, testing)
